Pelmeni and vareniky are different types of dumplings stuffed with various fillings (meat, fish, mushrooms, mashed potatoes and onions or sweet with cherries or cottage cheese and apricot, cabbage and bryndza).
We are big pelmeni lovers who have started a small family-run business in the very heart of Prague in 2016. Now we have also opened a bistro in the very center of Ljubljana (Slovenia).
Every day we boil fresh pelmeni and vareniky and serve them with a wide variety of sauces, sour-cream and fresh verdure.
Pelmeňárna na Jiřáku offers not only a wide variety of pelmeni and vareniky, but handmade traditional Georgian khinkali, daily soup offer and different Ossetian pies, homemade pickles, tinctures and tap beer.
